Health management in the regional Bosnian market has traditionally been a slow, manual, and fragmented process. Patients rely on phone calls to manage all areas of their healthcare, with staffing costs for the patient experience teams at ASA Hospital, one of Europe's newest and most advanced medical facilities, increasing as the hospital expands its offering.
I partnered with ASA’s digital project team to design and implement a digital-first patient experience. By integrating with the existing digital infrastructure, I developed a health management platform that optimized booking operations to significantly reduce staffing costs, while enhancing patient engagement through health tracking features and individualized preventative healthcare programs.
